I admit it, I am behind on ze blog, but have no fear...I will catch up eventually. I feel like a Confessional Friday was necessary though:
1.) I'm secretly, geniunely offended that our dog is not loving the new house yet. He basically has an anxiety attack every time we leave and he has no interest in the backyard beyond doing his business. Buddy seriously needs to pull himself together. I mean, he was our excuse for purchasing a house afterall.
2.) We just received our wedding pictures back and I have spent a good 5 hours looking at them...they are gorgeous...and perfect...AND I probably should be packing up boxes instead...whoopsies....There are over 1,000 and I'll be posting soon!
3.) The only thing I don't luuuve about the new house is that I can see myself naked in the mirror the entire time I shower. Don't get me wrong, I think everything is where it should be for a 25-year-old, but seriously I don't want stare at my nude bod for 30 minutes every morning. Yes, I take really long showers. Can you say "frosted glass" please....dear God, please.
4.) Yesterday, I walked into Target and blacked-out. When I came-to, my receipt said $70.00. I swear I only bought a couple of laundry baskets and some blush. Lady needs to re-evaulate her monthly budget.
5.) My work bestie Michelle took today off, and along with the rain outside, I've been fighting off a minor bout of depression all morning with my Peppermint Mocha Coffeemate. If she were here, she would tell me to GET.A.GRIPE. But she's not.
6.) I'm still just devastated about about the death of my wedding dress. I have never before in my life been involved in a physical altercation (besides with my brothers), but I seriously have the urge to go in and punch the drycleaners with my foot. Is that too violent for a cutesy confessional post? I do apologize. I promise I won't actually harm anyone, but dealing with the company execs has been a nightmare. They have been both unapologetic and unprofessional. Le sigh.
*On a much lovelier note, I am just dumbfounded by how helpful and generous our friends are to us. I am just blown away by the people who have offered to help us move our big-ticket items early on a Saturday morning. My cup runneth over. Cheers to early morning heavy-liftin' and beer-drankin'!*
Have a fabulous weekend!
All My Love,
Jessica
